Welcome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its beginning in 1989, Island Baptist Church has been a growing family of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. A full range of backgrounds, ages, and talents are represented here. Whatever your needs and interests are, it\u2019s our prayer that you will feel right at home in this church family, a family that could be characterized by its commitment to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bible<\/strong>
People in Jesus\u2019 day were amazed at His teaching. It had power that greatly changed the lives of those who accepted it. We believe that the Bible is God\u2019s relevant Word that still changes lives today. Learning its truths is a thrilling adventure and a vital part of what we do as a church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer<\/strong>
Although prayer is often seen as a last \u2013 ditch effort, we try to keep it a top priority. We have a loving Heavenly Father who rewards those who diligently seek Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caring<\/strong>
Everybody needs a little help to get theirs lives together. We value the support we can give to each other in times of crisis and on a regular basis in growing friendships. Different types of small groups and gatherings help us care for one another.People like yourself have made Island Baptist the wonderful church that it is. Our newcomers are very special people. It is my prayer that you will experience God\u2019s richest blessings here. It\u2019s a great home to come home to! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who we are<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jesus said to His Disciples \u201c\u2026you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth\u201d (Acts 1:8). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also said, \u201cGo and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age\u201d
 (Matthew 28: 19-20).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Island Baptist Church began in 1989 as a daughter church of Cedarhome Baptist in Stanwood, WA. Beginning as a Bible Study group meeting on the island, it soon grew, and with the help and support of Cedarhome Baptist, became a church of loving, dedicated followers of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


 The church campus is on five acres, just north of Camano Plaza Market, and consists of a worship center, classrooms, library, youth center, sport court, play field and a home used for ministry purposes. By God\u2019s gracious provision and the faithful giving of his people, the church is debt free.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
